Working with Lara was an incredible journey that highlighted the importance of personalised care and attention to detail in creating the perfect bridal look.

Lara reached out to me with a clear vision: Having naturally curly hair she wanted to feel slightly different but with a touch of elegance that would make her feel truly special.

From the moment Lara made her first inquiry, I knew this was going to be a unique and rewarding experience. Our journey together began with a hair preview session. Lara’s wedding theme was rustic and relaxed with pastel colours, and her beautiful detailed wedding dress and love for florals were central to her vision. She got engaged in Sorrento and wanted to incorporate lemon yellow into the floral displays, her favourite colour, and opting for pops of colour around the venue through flowers.

For her initial hair preview, we tried my signature Hollywood waves a half up style  because Lara wanted to feel slightly different to her usual curls on her special day. These waves gave Lara a sophisticated and glamorous look. She loved them, but after some thought, Lara was concerned that she might look too different from her usual style. Understanding the importance of feeling like yourself on such a significant day, we then arranged a second trial.

This time, Lara arrived with her beautiful natural curls. We worked together to create a look that enhanced her natural beauty while adding an elegant touch. Lara wanted classy, elegantly styled curls that weren’t too dramatic—an effortless look. Together, we explored different options, ensuring she felt comfortable and beautiful. The result was nothing short of stunning. Lara felt like the best version of herself, a look that then received countless compliments on her wedding day.

To add volume, length, and more definition to her curls, we decided to use hair extensions. The colour match was so seamless that nobody even noticed she had them in her hair. The result was nothing short of stunning. 

“This is my hair right now after sleeping on it and driving 3 hours to the cotswolds… I couldn’t bring myself to take it out this morning because I still loved it” 

Lara’s bridal preparation was meticulously planned. Pre curling some of the extensions the day before to reduce the styling time and ensure we got the curls just right and to ensure a smooth and calm wedding morning, we also enlisted the help of associate stylists for the bridal party members. Working alongside the makeup artist to ensure a well coordinated hair and makeup morning was planned. 

The seamless coordination continued with the photographer and videographer, who captured Lara’s natural beauty and elegance in every shot. Their artistry provided Lara with timeless memories that she will cherish forever.
